Tips for correcting slant?

Finished up my mini H1 retrofit tonight and thought I had them level, I even took them out and put them on the truck to make sure, but somewhere between then and re-sealing them, my passenger side has a slight slant to it. Does anybody have any tips as to how to correct this?

 

H1 is going to be tough.
On the D2S, you might be able to loosen the mounting ring and retighten, but with the H1 using the clip mount, and unclipping drops the projector into the housing, I think you are attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis

 

So I guess my best bet would be to loosen the lock nut and try to position the projector from the back and then re-tighten until said slant is gone?

 

Give it a try. I would suspect that it got bumped during tightening of the locknut.

 

I will have to do it on my day off soon and see if that works.

i have the same problem with mine. ive read on some of the retrofit forums that you can try removing the bulb then sticking a large flat head screw driving and turning the projector without having to remove the headlight.

i've had my slant for over 4 months now and havent found the time to fix it.

 

I fixed mine by just loosening the lock nut and slowly turning it till I was able to level it out. It took 3 or 4 times because I had to put them on my truck every time to test them. But now they are perfect
