Just bought a lowrance and planning on buying the west topo maps for it. I have only used a garming before with straight line navigation so excited about this new one. Has anyone used one of these. How are they. IS it just straight line navigation to? I have a IMAC computer so what program do you suggest to use for my mapping of trails. Going on the mojave road in april and need to get that one soon. Basically any tips and tricks and experience about them in comparison to my garmin nuvi 500 that i have used in the past would be helpful. Also any websites for how to use it to its fullest potential.
