    Hi everyone,

First of all, thank you to everyone for your great posts. I have not joined in the past, but I have used the site for information countless times. Tonight I used it for an unbelievable discount on a Tonneau cover from Truck Alterations thanks to a great post and replies from the owner, Luke.

My first Tacoma was a 2009 Access Cab, 4x4, 4cyl, 5-speed. I had a few more issues than I was comfortable with (springs, clutch, radio, heater fan). The forum helped me get over it, and it was a great truck right up to the point where I bought a 3000# boat. It was killing my new clutch just pulling out from a stop light, and I needed 4-lo to get out of the launch.

I took advantage of the great resale value, and traded up for a double cab TRD Off Road. While they are both Tacomas, this one is much different. It's like my old one with a little more everything (except gas mileage).

So I look forward to more info from the forum, and now I will try and contribute a little back when I can.

    Cheers,
    Tom
