biggest tire on a 2012 TRD sport with 17 x 9 wheels

    I searched this forum for this same info and found a few threads, but my specific question is regarding wheel width too.

    I'm going from a 17 x7.5 inch wheel to a 17 x 9 inch. I am presently running the factory bridgestones in 265/65r17, but want to go to a taller tire and and a slightly more agressive tread.

    That being said, i would like some recommendations on the largest tire i can install without a lift and not have any rubbing.

    265/70/17, if the tire is approved for 9" wide wheels. Some 265's are, some aren't
