07 4dr prerunner v6 trd

I have a 2007 v6 Prerunner 4dr. I see where a lot of people or havng bulb problems on the heat control knobs area, is this just a toyota mfg problem.
dealers wants to charge $29.00 for bulbs and $50.00 for labor.
