Well shit. Nothing's going to be free. Plus I'd rather have sealed than not sealed just for piece of mind

OEM Quality and uses all weatherpack sealed terminals

I like not having to worry about my wiring, so I used all OEM connectors/terminals/seals, nothing to vibrate loose, and no connections to get wet and corrode

if you are going to get it coated, have the coater strip it. Thats the easiest

if you are going to coat it with something yourself, I would go with a flap wheel on a grinder. powdercoat is a bitch to get off. even with sand blasting

dipping it would be the best way to go.

    Peninsula Powdercoating could do it.

    good luck

if you buy a fuse panel and then 5 relays, you would be in the same ballpark on price.

Its gets expensive when you start buying wire and connectors/terminals, but I did all my stuff as plug and play ( I can unplug any light, the compressor, without messing with the main harness)

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Try performance powdercoatings in va beach. Retired chief owns the place and they do awesome work!!! Ceramic coated the pipes on my bike and a few other parts got powdercoated. The are just off dam neck road near Oceana.

All of mine are weatherpack, and the best price I found was Amazon honestly, you can get a connector with male/female terminals and shrouds with seals.

    http://www.amazon.com/Delphi-Packar...10028&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=weatheepack+2+pin

They come in all kinds of configurations, I use two wire, but they make 4, 6, and singles

There is a special crimp tool and release tool that you can also get off of amazon for about 35 bucks.

    http://www.amazon.com/Delphi-Packard-Weatherpack-Crimper-Tool/dp/B002CCAEJ6/ref=pd_sim_auto_4

if you are going to do alot of connectors, you can get an assortment from Summit or McMaster, but for low volume Amazon was best

Just beware those rockers are very bright. I started with them... they were so distracting while driving at night. I moved to the custom OTRATTW switches. Again... a few bucks more but very cool indicators!

If you decide to grind it down and rattle can it (save money for relays and switches :D), you can use my grinder... you're already familiar with it!

SWEET! Just ordered a dozen and the tool. I'm going to redo all my connectors with these! As soon as they arrive... I'll toss them in my toolbox with the other unfinished projects!!!

Morning all! Time to head 15 feet across the house to the office!!!

We had our monthly meeting at the range last night...

There were 5 2nd gen tacos there (including me), 4 were silver (Suprise), 3 of them (including me) lifted with 32/3 ish tires... one looking strong with XD's. I saw no TW decals... but it was dark and I didn't walk around them. I did leave a calling card on on I parked near.

Anyone here belong to NCRR?
