Scan Guage II worth it or not?

    Mounted mine on steering column with a flat 1" bungee - didn't want to use the velcro/glue. It is about an inch in front of the speedo, and I still can read the cruise light. Ran wire down and over to the connector. Was most concernered with getting accurate odometer reading, got that set and now gallons at fillup matches the pump. Had to reset when replaced dunlops with Michelin MS2's. Need to recalibrate about every 10k miles to adjust for tire wear.

    I like when threads get revived! If the OP hasn't made a decision yet, or if others are considering a scan gauge I will put this out as an alternative- get a $20 Bluetooth ob2 plug and the torque app for $5. It is a little less easy to use but has more info than the sc2.
