doors trying to unlock by themselves??(tundra) plz help!

    hey guys thought maybe someone could help me, im selling my 02 tundra 4.7l 4wd. and all of the sudden yesterday i was walking away from it and it started trying to unlock the doors by itself, click click click, then stop. i turned off the toggle for my remote start, still does it! i dont want the new owner (if it sells) to have this problem... any suggestions?!

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    Pull the battery out of your remote and see if it still does it. If so, your remote is starting to go.

    I just bought an Ebay remote to replace my factory. It works fine, with one very major exception: all the buttons are extremely sensitive. I was having the same problems you describe. Apparently the knock off remotes have different buttons soldered onto the actual circuit board inside the case. For 20 bucks I got what I paid for, I guess. I actually took it apart, cut up a dishwashing sponge and stuffed it in there. Now you have to compress the sponge before the buttons will activate. Problem solved.

    Probably not the same as your issue, but had to throw it out there.

    ^^^this would probably work but from what im getting from the op is that he has remote start so he must have an aftermarket alarm...

    em i correct op?

    if so, it could be the alarm causing that...

    im not aware of an aftermarket alarm....just the remote start..

    my truck was doing that and it was a loose ground on the afrtermarket remote set up, walk away from the truck and the doors would lock and unlock until the battery was dead
