Katzkin air bag question

Will 09-11 seat covers /w side air bag fit my 2007 without side air bag.

I know it is unsafe to go the other way around for obvious reasons.

However, covering the air bags is unsafe. And could potentially explode due to the rapid expansion of gas. Same principle as a pipe bomb. The gas will expand until the container, in which it is expanding, fails.

Just a disclaimer, so someone reading this, doesnt decide it must be ok to cover air bags with leather seat covers and potentially hurt themself or someone else.

 

Yes, it should be fine as long as the trim is the same.

I want to see a youtube video of someone testing their side airbags with katskins to prove they still work.
