I haven't added any mods recently so I want to change my rear lights. My current setup is the stock third brake light and the stock 2009+led tail lights I put in to replace my stock 2008 non-led lights. My headlights are the stock 2009+ smoked ones that I purchased and put in to replace my 2008 stock non-smoked ons. I would like to duplicate the smoked look from my front headlights to my rear lights. Here are a couple of options I have thought about: 1) put back in my stock 2008 tails, but smoke them and my third brake light to match what the headlights look like (this eliminates the LED look in the rear) 2) purchase a third brake light and rear tails from IPCW that are platinum smoked.... Any other thoughts?

well if you still have youre stock 08 tails and want to really smoke the 09+ led tails then swap them back to stock and paint the 09 tail lights...
unless you really want to buy those other tail lights from that IPCW place you mention

Just a few little things. It's my DD
I would go buy the nite shades at parts store along with can if clear coat. Paint them then clear to protect. Very easy. Practice on your old set so you don't mess up your led ones. And so you get a feel if how dark you want.
