in for recalls

Had my 2009 in for three recalls; tires, steering column wiring for air bags, replaced brake pedal with smaller one that looks out of place and cut gas pedal now nothing matches kind of a butcher job. The whole thing took two days. On my way out i told the service manager i was in line at the drive though and the truck reved up, i re applied the brakes and it stopped. He said i was the third person to tell him that. Oh and I lost three miles a gallon, sounds like they redid something on the computer but they said know. Anyone have a similar problem?
