After many sleepless nights trolling TW and multiple other forums I have gone back and forth on lifts, wheels, tires, backspacing, offsets, 17s vs. 18s, etc....etc...etc...

    I have a 2011 QC Prerunner SB.

I have made my mind up that I am going with the Toytec Ultimate Lift with LR UCA's, 17 x 9 XD Hoss Wheels, and 285/70/17 Duratracs.....

1.Where would be the best place to purchase all these?
2.Any Installation problems I may run into?
3.Do I need to leave the 5100's at the preset height?
4.I do not have the TSB leaf, is the 2" add a leaf in the kit going to be enough?
5.I am about to drop about 3 grand on this stuff and would really like to get it right the first time.
6.Tire size was recommended by rep at Toytec for that lift, will I have any fitment issues, minor trimming is no problem. Mudflaps already removed.

    1. I imagine you can only get the Toytec Ultimate Lift from Toytec, although maybe you could buy pieces of the kit from different sites to save some money. Not sure. I got my LR UCA's from Fat Bob's Garage. Just search around, you can usually find them for about $375+shipping. Haven't bought wheels so I'm not sure where the best prices can be had and typically discounttire.com or tirerack.com have the lowest prices on tires.

    2. You will likely still have some trimming to do to keep your tires from rubbing on the fenders and flairs. You may also have to do the pinch weld and cab mount chops. The UCA bolts can be a pain to get out as well. I just bent my fenders a little to get them, some people choose to cut the bolt out and then get new bolts from the local dealerships. Just make sure to put the bolts in the opposite way that they came out and they will be much easier to work with.

    3. You don't have to leave them at the preset height. Looks like they come with a spanner wrench so you can easily adjust them up and down to level out your ride.

    4. The TSB leaf with a 1.5" AAl and the factory leaf with a 2" AAL are going to be very close in height so you should be fine. Plus you can lower your front with spanner wrench if it is too low for you.

    5. Depends on how you use your rig. If it just sees pavement all the time, this lift should be just fine for you. If you offroad, you may look into getting a whole new leaf pack like the OME DAkars or an Allpro leaf pack maybe.

    6. Mention in 2.

Hope I answered everything. If you have more questions fire away:D and Welcome to TW!
