    First post :p

    I have some Blizzak snow tires on my truck (Near park city, plenty of snow usually) for the winter. The wheels on the truck are after market, but I am not sure of the size. I bought the truck with these wheels and some worn Toyo AT's. My current tires are 285/70/17. (width in mm, percent, wheel size - right?)

    I'm looking at ProComp wheels, but there are varying sizes. The format looks like this 17x9, 8x170mm, Center: 130.81, Offset: -6mm BKSP 4.75

    I've attempted to google this, but nothing really comes up. I'll continue looking. However, the reason I'm asking you fine folks, is because I get some rubbing with my current wheel. I could get spacers, but I wondered if it wasn't a better idea to get an offset wheel instead? I'd really appreciate any help.

    Tacoma is an 05 TRD offroad with a 2 inch lift

    Edit: After searching the forums for an hour or so, I found one thread where it is sort of discussed.

    17x9 = 17 inch wheel 9 inch width
    8x170mm still not sure (bolt pattern?)
    Center: still not sure
    Offset: used in calculating the BKSP
    BKSP: the lower it is the farther the wheel sticks out. All of this model show 4.75, which should be enough for a 285 width tire to no longer rub?

    So with a bolt pattern of 6x5.5, I'd want the following model from the dropdown.

    17x9, 6x5.5, Center: 108, Offset: -6mm, BKSP: 4.75"
