Mine has done this close to a dozen times since I got it in September. I always turn the key to the run position and leave it there for a few seconds while I put on seat belt, etc before starting it. I've had the dealer look at it twice and all they said was "no codes stored and it started fine while we had it." I even left it with them for 3 days, while waiting on replacement airbag sensors, and they couldn't replicate the problem. It might be my imagination but it only seems to do it when there is a big change in temperature. It happened one day last week and the temperature had dropped roughly 30 degrees in eight hours...

Mine seems to do it when my truck has been parked on a incline, even a slight incline.

That's my theory on this matter.

Hold the recurlating button down for 3-5 seconds, it will cancel the auto shut off

Oh, and my 2012 also has failed to start 3 or 4 times in the last year

FWIW. This has happened on my 07. But it is directly related to windy conditions. I park right next to a tall building at work. When the wind is blowing from a certain direction it hits the tall curved face of the building and excelerates dramatically. On several occasions and only during this extreme windy condition the truck will either not start on the first try or start and die. Always starts and runs fine on the second try.

Does anyone else notice that their truck starts better when it's warmer outside? Mine always cranks fine (new battery), but over the winter sounds like it "barely" catches and starts. As soon as the weather warmed up it seemed to have healthier starts.

My '81 Buick didn't like to start when it was cold out, but I don't understand this shit on a 3-year-old vehicle with modern technology.

Thanks! I'm still having this problem as well. I'll check w/ the dealer next time I'm up that way.
