    If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.

    Not intended for turning an engine over on a dead battery though.

    Future improvements:
    12vdc line from shack to 12v fuse panel in garage.
    Anderson connectors.

    Thoughts?

    I have successfully used quick disconnected temperature compensated chargers for years to keep my batteries fully charged, especially in temperatures below freezing or not being used at least once per week. Be sure you fuse at the battery and compensate for wiring voltage drop and temperature.
