Previous owner used to haul heavy loads, so he put an AAL on it and TRD front suspension with a lift and custom rear suspension for added weight capacity. I recently installed a tow package (Curt with lifetime warranty) So i will definitely see what this thing can handle as far as weight goes.
A LOT. But our money will be way more inflated too. 20 bucks will get you a Slurpee.

unless they switch fuel sources and make whatever adaptations to existing gasoline engines in order to run it. Only time will tell.

I work at the TMMTX assembly plant on the assembly line and I have been there for 7 years and ever since MY 2010 when the Fremont CA plant closed and we started building Tacomas, I can say with 100% certainty that at least in Texas we have never built a TRD Regular Cab Tacoma. Not to say this isn't a real TRD Regular cab, but there is no such "animal" at least since 2010 when Texas took over production. Heck, we do not even have the Silver Billies in the plant. Lol

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You bought a modded Tacoma and that's a good thing!

I know it wasn't built as a TRD. I do know however that is was modded before the owner drove it. The dealer told me it was built in California as a base prerunner and shows TRD front suspension was added somewhere along the line, and an AAL and silver shocks in the back were also added. What training/schooling do i need to be able to work for a toyo factory???? that seems like a dream job to me. I am currently taking automotive courses and a may soon be interning at a Toyota dealer. But dang a factory job sounds fucking splendid.

I am thinking the owner just wanted to save the money he would have had to spend getting an access cab or double cab TRD and just bought a regular cab prerunner and made it a very subtle version of one (suspension wise) it was a fleet vehicle for sharps home centers carrying alot of weight around. (i found out cause theres a sticker in my car saying sharps home centers)

HA. I like to know if some dude just threw on whatever suspension that makes the truck lift up and look cool, or if he actually used it for what its made for. Ive already figured my truck out, I don't know how to close a thread. i tried lol.
