I just went through this and after spending over a MONTH checking every vendor source I could fine the choice I made was Amazon.com

The reason? Well if you sign up for their "Prime Membership" for a year you get free 2 day shipping. I found the tire I wanted (Goodyear Duratrac 6ply) in the size I wanted and had them (4) shipped to my door for $924.99 in 2 days... Even on ebay, the cheapest I could get was $1098 for the same tire with a 7-10 day shipping.

I was already a prime member on Amazon so this cost me nothing extra. I think if you are not a member its $80... To me, free 2 day shipping and easy returns have paid this 100x over.

    Good luck on your quest.

My local Discount Tire price-matched quick and easy. Matter of fact, they beat the other price by $30. Very easy to work with.
