For some reason, when I test drove a 2012 DCLB TRD Sport that was equiped with the navigation screen, I seem to remember the camera image being displayed on the nav screen and not the rear-view mirror. Am I confusing this option/detail of the 2012 with another truck that I test drove around the same time? Is the image displayed on the nav screen, when equipped, on the 2013 model Tacomas, or is it in the mirror?

I have a 2012 with entune. Mine is on the nav screen. I wish i could display it on the mirror though.

I wonder why the change...I would think that the nav screen would be better, as it would be significantly larger than in the mirror.

I would prefer mine in the nav screen. Bigger picture. I have a 2013.

It is significantly larger - it's the size of the nav screen. Because of that I prefer it there. If it was the same size as the mirror display, I'd want it up on the mirror where it would be more natural to look at while backing.

If they would've put the marker lines on the nav screen, I wouldn't mind so much. That's the main reason I want it in my mirror, plus it's a more natural place to look than my dash when I'm backing up.
