    Thanks guys. Everything is pretty much done. Since the last pics, we chopped the frame, added a rear bumper with lights and hitch mount. I'll try to get pics up tomorrow. We still need to add the side cargo rails, spare tire and mount, and mud flaps.

    More work done means more pics to show!!! Cage is baciscally %100 done. Hitch receiver is done. Chrome hubcaps on :) . 35" spare strapped down. Steven is currently working on the tire-carrier swing-out which should be done in a couple days. Then it will be done...for now.

    Well I destroyed the bed and tail lights offroading and the bumper kept dragging. So doing this allowed me to make the truck 8" shorter. Plus it's bullet proof. So why a flatbed? - it allows me to still carry cargo, I have much better clearance, it is basically indestructible, and looks cool. We designed this one around offload use while still being able to carry stuff.

    ya that thing is super clean! A tad bulky and doesn't allow for as much clearance. But it sure looks really good.

    BTW, I just heard that Trail Gear is producing flatbed kits for 1st gens I believe.

    I hauled some cargo on my bed today and didn't even need to strap anything down - pics to come.
