I was under the impression you can't do the switch backs with factory DTRL because of the relay. You had to replace it with a non DTRL relay. Are you saying you don't have too? If so, I'm in!!!

 

The way I say to install them you use the factory dtrl flasher. As you casn see in the video, they look great. If your interested in an order pm me.

 

How do you wire up the extra juice for the switchbacks? I got some switchback from VLEDS and turned out they wouldn't work with the DTRL. Guy at VLED told me I needed to replace the Toyota DTRL relay with a non DTRL Relay. Whats your kit do?

 

The extrra juice comes from a 12v relay. My kit is made especially for tacomas. Most have issues because they are wired different for whatever application they are made for. Mine work flawlessly as you can see in my video. Dont know what someone else has but i know mine work.

 

Both my Regular amber, and White/ambers are very bright. If thats what you are asking

I know this is an old thread but let's see if anyone can help.. I did the DTRL mod since I didn't have them. So would just adding the switchback bulb and resistor work like it suppose to?
