Hey guys i just noticed this yesterday when i was coming down the 15fwy. To start off the truck is an 09 Regular Cab Prerunner 4 cylinder manual.

I was cruising (without cruise control) at around 75mph (around 2800rpm) and i pushed in the clutch and i noticed that my tack stuck at 2800rpm so i tapped the gas to see if it would go down and instead it went up to 3200rpm and stuck until i let the clutch back out. I figured it was holding the rpm as long as i left it in gear to make it smooth when i let the clutch back out so i tried it again but this time throwing the tranny into neutral and the rpm's still stuck for about 10 seconds and then dropped. This is the first time ive had it happen. Has anyone else noticed this?

Pedal sticking down a little bit? Make sure it's moving freely and clear of all floor mats/obstructions.

my truck does the same thing when headed down a grade. I'll be going 75-80mph @ 3k rpm. i'll push the clutch in, throw it into neutral to coast and the rpms will hang at 3k untill I give it a quick full throttle tap then the rpms will come down back to normal. very odd but its something my truck has always done.

    I have a 4x4 2.7

The pedal was cut when i got the truck. and no obstructions for the pedal. I was also coming down the cajon pass so i was on a grade. Its weird that this is the first time it did it.
