Not 100% sure, but this is a bad wheel bearing right? It does this on both front wheels. I've been noticing a continuous "clank" when driving. (Turn the volume up to hear)

And here's the oil leak. the timing chain cover has been leaking for years now, but it's getting bad now. I could never see spots on the ground until now. I still don't notice it on the dipstick though.

Sounds like the brake pads shifting does it do it all the time going in one direction?

This is what my friend said too. I did just change the pads and turn the rotors, and it started right after I changed them.

It does make a "clank" when I grab the top of the tire and pull, but it's not as loud.

What your hearing is the play in your cv
Well that's what I hear anyway
Movement when grabbing top n bottom of wheel would indicate wheel bearing
Look at ur lower cam tabs and upper n lower bj

My CV has always had play, and I've always had a "clank" when hitting bumps, but this "clank" is new. The faster the wheel spins, the faster the "clanking" gets. I'll check out the cams tomorrow, thanks!

What your doing in the video is normal. Thats just your cv gears

"clanking" while driving and hitting bumps sounds like a ball joint issue. To determine if its the Lower BJ. Jack up the wheel off the ground and stick a pry bar between the BJ and spindle. Balljoints wear out vertical while tierods wear out horizontal

I've found the culprit! As someone stated, it is loose brake pads. Here's a little video. My question, how do I fix it? Are the little pins that hold the pad in wore out, or are the pads just a tad smaller?

brake and caliper grease on back of the pad should keep the noise down

I greased them when I put the new pads on. It makes the sound when moving the pad up and down, or when the truck is moving.

Don't forget , it helps to take out bolts on caliper and lube them as well.

Any other remedies for the brake pads being loose? This "clanking" is pissing me off.
