ACCESS CAB SPEAKERS

be installing speakers in a 2013 acess cab. be running speaker wires threw the rubber boot that goes from the cab corners to the rear doors. do i have to gut all trim in the back of the cab [ jump seats, etc ] to get the trim in the cab corners removed? any videos?

 

Shoud be a pretty simple install. The speaker wires might be there already you would have to jump them . Look at the first few threads here. They are great Reference.

 

If you pull out both ends of the rubber flex tube, you can push the wires through it fairly easily, then push your extra wire into the doorjamb hole and then just pop the barbed ends of the tube back into the door and door jamb. Next pull the weather strip away from the jamb and you can see into the space between the body and the interior trim and hook the extra wire out with a wire hook. No need to remove all the plastic. I routed my wires behind the weatherstrip to the front of the cab past the A pillar covers which are just held on with a coupla' bolts. Pass the wire behind the side curtain airbags above the headliner.
