I got drawn back in 08. Had a antlerless tag. Shot a cow dressed 545lbs. Great experience and a freezer full of good eatin. Lots of planning involved. Took 7 hrs to get it out of the woods whole. l post some pics tonight.

 

Mornin! Woke up so exited about getting truck back and seeing my wheels. Too bad I probably won't be able to pick it up until tonight.

I haven't been able to find an online vendor that will ship to MA. I know it's legal to do so but for some reason, no one will. The bigger guys like Cabela's and Bass Pro won't even ship ammo here. My dad knows a guy who owns a small shop in NY so he was able to get some for me. This guy used to have an entire single stall garage full of ammo, all different calibers, now it's completely empty except a few odd-ball sizes. Took him 2 weeks to even get my dad and I 750 rounds of .22lr.

 

Holy crap, I'm going to the poor house. Just bought a gopro black edition, got 125 off the price though, couldn't help myself. Somebody please, take away my wallet.

Haha..I always say, many children are thankful I am not their father. My niece would be locked in a dungeon till she was at least 30 if I had my way..

 

Speaking of gun laws which i know nothing about, ive never really been into shooting or hunting, a bill is supposed to pass in CT today and will probably make us the strictest state in the US right now.

 

I saw the tail end of that on the news last night Evan..not sure of the particulars except them banning the assault weapon used in the Sandy Hook shootings.

For you guys who use buffers, I'm looking at the Porter Cable

$139 7424xp PORTER-CABLE Car Polisher and Buffer, 6", Orbital, Variable Speed (7424XP)

7424xp and have no idea how to choose which pads to get with it... How did you guys choose the right pad? I don't want to end up with something too aggressive where it damages my paint, but also want to make sure it's tough enough to do the job. Is pad selection really THAT important or just start with an aggressive one for cutting then use a softer one for wax?

 

I saw that, I'd like to read the whole thing sometime and not just get the highlights from the media to see what actually in the new legislation for you guys. At face value, it doesn't look like it does anything productive and I frankly think it's disgusting how some politicians have exploited that tragic event to push legislation through and make comments making anyone opposed to legislation sound like they might as well have been holding the gun.

I've never used an aggressive one, or tried to cut. I always just use a soft pad to polish/ wax. I use a black an decker orbital
