Hope this is not a sign of things to come. Truck is very well maintained. 120000km. Broke a leaf last weak and now I hear a tin like sound when I get on the gas. Sounds like its coming from the exhaust. Its not the same sound the broken leaf was making.. Any ideas guys??

I recently had a similar sound when accelerating and in sharp turns. Turns out the heat shield surrounding the gas tank had been bent from driving through piles of snow/ice. It was making contact with the drive shaft.

x2, I had the same thing happen to me. There are heat and dust shields all over the place and they are thin, flimsy pieces of metal that bend easily and make a horrible sound when they contact nearby moving parts. So far I've had it happen with both dust guards around the front rotors and one of the heat shields out back that was contacting the drive shaft (that one made a horrible racket).

x2, they are very flimsy. I think mine got bent just by going through a puddle at speed.
