looking for a combo camera and monitor for my 2005 dblcab that is wired, not wireless. want to purchase both together, preferably with license plate camera mount. looked on ebay and did search on this forum but here was just camera alone for the newer Tacoma. most ran from about $65 up to $300 and only came with a 30 day warranty. some brand names would be helpful, remember do not to wireless.

I'm in the same market , no junk wireless adapted bs - just a good solid camera and monitor with decent clarity . Would prefer to hear from people that have had a particular brand/type directly , not hype from some website .

Not looking for a dash camera but one for the rear like OP posted - for backing up or hooking trailers , which I do a lot .

Just kidding, I read it as a review camera for traffic and junk

Someone times people throw them up for sale.

I'm sure , as with the original poster , the stock camera system on '09 and later models is ok but I'd like something with a better display, good mounting options for said display and probably a license plate frame camera with much better resolution . There is too much imported junk on the net to get a decent review/opinion of what to buy and my temper will be better off if I can get firsthand advice from someone here that owns an aftermarket unit that actually works as fukn advertised .
