Not unlikely. Car salesmen tend to be like migrant farmworkers and bounce from dealer to dealer with the economy and trends.
I would expect that dealerships would have employee incentives, especially for their sales staff. Kinda hard to sell a Neon when the customer asks what YOU drive and you have to say "Uhh... a Camry"
I'd expect to see new(er) employee trades.

OTOH, if I worked at a Dodge dealer I would still drive a Toyota.

I bought mine from a Dodge/Chrysler dealer in another province.

 

We have a chevy dealer in town. And they used to buy (new owners now) used cars at auction. And the used Toyota's would always sell faster then the chevys.
