I'm looking for a solid 2 up quad for my wife and I, but I also have three dogs weighing in around 60lbs each that will be towed with a small quad trailer. I found this CanAm 500 a couple hours away from me:

My question is do you guys think the Outlander 500 has good power? Online reviews talk about its 40hp but I'm not sure how that translates into real world spunk. I'm worried it won't be spunky enough when carrying both my wife and I. Together we check in at 310lbs. I'm also a little concerned it will be a bog monster while trailering my dogs.

We're just looking for something to do some spirited trail riding and exploring in. Not looking to do wheelies or crawl vertical rock faces lol.

    What do you guys think?

did you buy the 500? i would think a 500 would do the trick. i have 650 2 up and do alot of icefishing with my wife. with all the weight of two ice fishing shelters and the rest of our gear.
