I'm moving this weekend and the only service I can get besides basic cable is uverse. Which is fine. I'm going to bundle with their highest speed Internet and a tv package. Nothing else. What are some things I should know about their different packages for tv and add ons like sports and stuff. I'm not interested in any movie channels. I usually only watch fx, comedy central, history, discovery, and sometimes travel. The gf watches vh1 mtv and those type channels. I'm guessing all those will come in a normal channel package but my main concern is getting channels to watch football, pro and college. I want to be sure to have the ESPN channels and nfl as well as CBS Sports. I know my nfl team usually plays on CBS but not like the typical local CBS. Do I need to get a basic tv package and then add the sports package or what? I ran into this a lot when staying at the gf's apartment. Game was on CBS but not the normal CBS channel so I went to her parents who had direct TV and nfl ticket. Does uverse have a similar program?
