    The better coast
I am just going to say.....

If you are thinking on putting a 800$ bike, pricey snowboard, or anyting else worth some money on a 30$ rack, maybe you should re think the purchase of the rack.

Window and door ones work, if they are designed for the specific car, I would never trust a "universal" one. I have heard that they slide around and are generally a waste of 30$, not to mention risk damaging your vehicle and/or having the system fail and loosing your property.

The reason roof racks are so pricey is because the peace of mind you get with it, much like medical equipment.

Thats just my 2 cents, its your car and property, so its not really my problem....unless it falls off and damages my car. Then you can bet I will take legal action in every way I can to fix/replace any damages to me and or my car. And I know others will do the same ;)

lol I got that uni rack but from wally world. the front holds good but the back its so-so (ext. cab btw) it would slide back n forth since there wasn't really anything for the clips to hold on too. on freeways howls like a mofo couldn't stand it so I took it off
