Attn. 09, 11, 12 Headlight lense will melt

    Fold A Cover, Factory Class 4 Hitch with Factory Harness, Cruise, Int Wipers, TRD Alloys, Fogs, K&N Air Filter
    I went to my local GM dealer to buy the bulbs. The old part number has been superseded even though the bulbs still have #5702KA printed on the base. However, the base also denotes it as a 12V bulb. There is no info on the actual spec of the bulb available as far as the parts man can see. I wonder if the 'new' #5702 bulb is still a cooler burning unit.

    My wife noticed this the other day on my truck and asked if it was moisture and I remembered this thread.

    Dammit. hahaha

    I need to do the black headlight mod or white headlight mod and remove those while I am at it.

    Any one try just removing the lense and putting a ambler bulb in?
