Does installing a 2" or so lift on my 2012 Tacoma void my dealer warranty? I have a warranty on my Tacoma, if it does void it, I might as well cancel it, right? Thanks for everyone's help.

"Only if it is the cause of failure" is what the local dealership told me.

The only time that the dealer can void a part of your warranty if that aftermarket part caused the OEM part to fail. If you add a life they can't void your exhaust warranty because of that lift. Now if you installed the lift and it wrecked a parts of the OEM(struts for example) then they can void that part of the warranty. But, the dealership has to prove that it was your aftermarket part that caused the OEM part(s) to fail. The dealership can not void your whole warranty on your truck.
