    well after all is said and done....

    I sold my 285/70/17's after 8K miles and went to 255/75/17.... Just couldn't deal with the inability to have full lockout

    Got Goodyear MT/R and really like them, lot louder so far then the Duratracs... Wished I could have kept the Duratracs as they were an outstanding tire

    Not exactly pizza cutters, but still tall and skinny! :)
    If you wanted duratracs then why not get them in 265/70/17? Only slightly smaller than what you just bought.

    I'm running the Cooper AT3 in 275/70/17 with 2011 6-spoke 4-runner rims and bone stock suspension up front. Minor trimming to the plastic in front of the wheel, but otherwise, zero rubbing anywhere at any time. BTW, the AT3 is turning out to be a fantastic tire. Spent two days in a foot of snow at my ranch last weekend and never had a problem getting around. Wonderful highway manners as well.
