Nope, I keep my vehicles a minimum of 10 years. Trading early is just a waste of $. Over time this really adds up. Don't do it.

Why an 04 over an 05-06? 05 went to the wider wheels, 5x114.3 and a better interior IMHO.

I don't know if I'd trade my truck for one though. They're fun, and they can definitely be a joy to drive, but they're such rattletraps.

My wife has been bugging me to trade for an SUV.
I was looking at a 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT. I really like the 470hp and all the options, but I've always drove Toyota's.
    Not sure what to do.

ive been very tempted to trade my tacoma for a 2014 scion fr-s depending on what they do to it. My truck is averaging 18mpg/tank and i drive about 55 miles roundtrip for work. I'm really getting tired of spending so much on fuel.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Thought hard about a v6 access cab, but I love my lil 4 banger too much to let it go, already been through so much with it. It will likely stay with me to the grave, my kids will be restoring it someday probably. If I ever get the money to get a bigger truck, it would be a F150 crew cab; but I'd still keep my Tacoma. Only reason I'd get a F150 is I'd like to have a modest size camper or toy hauler someday, but not like a 5th wheel size where I'd need a 3/4 ton to move it with.

    this and that...
alegav: i cant tell you any one reason why i sold my subie to get the tacoma. the sti is a very fast car (staged 2) and looks good doing it. i love that pull, original styling, and that subie rumble. before that car i had an xrunner, so i guess that might have played a part in it. it certainly wasnt for speed or power because the sti would smash the tacoma...real quick, even supercharged. i guess its because everytime i saw a tacoma. it made me miss mines. now ill tell you this, i loved my subie, but i cant say i miss it. i mean this garage queen was immaculate, not one scratch on it and it was babied; it was very well taken cared of. like i stated earlier, i will buy another sti, but its more than likely going to be an 04, maybe 05.

Had my Tacoma for a little over a year now and I would not trade it for anything. Doesn't mean I wouldn't consider buying a 5.0 Mustang, but no way would I trade the Tacoma for it.
