Graduated college, got a job, went to buy a vehicle. Really wanted a Tacoma, but was gonna go practical and get a car with good gas mileage. Mom talked me into test driving a Tacoma, after that, the idea of a car went out the window :D

Sure, Tacoma costs more and doesn't get the best mileage, but I love my truck.

At the end of the day I chose another Pickup for the versatility. Being a homeowner your always looking to haul crap to or from the house. A four door pickup is just that much more convenient. I can have the wife and baby ride along and if I need to stop at Lowes to pick up something oversized or pick up mulch from the local nursery on the way home I can do it. SUVs are limited to what you can carry. My wife has a 4Runner so we have our basis covered. I know if we are heading to dinner with another couple her truck is far more convenient.
