I bought a 98 tacoma a few weeks backs paid 3700 CAD, did I get a good deal? I posted a photo of it in the gallery it has 245,000 km on the clock. 1st time buying a vehicle in Canada so just curious. Love the truck which is probably why I ended up here!!

The CAD to the USD is almost 1:1. 245,000 km is a little over 152k miles. Without knowing the specifics on the truck, we can't give you a fair analysis. Which engine? Any packages (SR5/TRD)? Which specific model? 4x2 or 4x4? Automatic or manual?

Welcome to TW and congratulations on your purchase!

Thanks for the replies. I'm not gonna lie this is my 1st truck I'm from Ireland and not a big market for trucks back there so don't know all of the specifics. What I do know though is that its a V6TRD 4×4 manual. Also is it possible to get step bars fitted? I posted a photo in the gallery

Based on KBB, a 1998 with the information provided lists for $5,000-6,000 USD. It looks like you got a great deal.

Partsgeek has some nerf bars for your truck if that's what you're looking for.

    Looks good.
Yes you can get step bars ether Toyota or aftermarket like N-fab.
Sliders are better than step bars if you off road.
