    Hey All,

I have an '06 Tacoma, double cab, with a manual transmission. I love it but I just recently started to look at the resale value (I had no idea it held it's value so well) so I began to wonder if I traded it in then I could get a newer Tacoma and be easy on the wallet.

My only complaint after I started looking was that they don't have a long bed with a double cab and a manual transmission. I'm not very knowledgeable about the mechanics behind it, but is there some reason why they don't have a long bed, double cab, and manual (I believe they have this set up if it's an automatic transmission)? Or is it simply because not a lot of people want that setup.

I'm probably going to stick with the Tacoma I have now, but I was also curious if maybe the 2014 Tacoma may have the setup I'm looking for.

    Thanks for any input.

I have not yet come across a 6' bed and manual trans. combo in a Taco.

No idea why they don't do it. I opted for the DCLB and auto but really miss driving a stick. My next truck will be a short bed but I'm undecided on transmission.
