im at 68,000 miles havnt done anything other then oil changes cabin air filter changes and cleaning/changing normal air filter. What else does our truck need, i have the service manual, i see a lot of draining and flushing maintenance recommended at 60,000 miles. Im planning to do the rear differential since it says every 60,000 then i read osm conflicting answers about how the rear diff will last up to 100,000 in many vehicles. Since mine is 2 wheel drive should i drain and fill this or leave it for a while. Never goes offroad obviously. Im sure following the manaual is the smartest idea. But i was just curious what everyone has to say from their experience . Im looking to do any required maintenance myself rather then paying the dealer 600.

When I got my 06 5 lugger a few months ago I changed the rear diff oil, spark plugs, and did an ATF drain and refill. I am supposedly the 4th owner of the thing and it had about 109k miles when I bought it. The fluids and spark plugs definitely looked as though they should have been changed sooner (I'm pretty sure none of the previous owners did any of that maintenance.)

yah im bout to do the diff, but im original owner with 69,000 so we shall see if its even dirty, tho it is recommended every 30,000 so imsure there is a reason for that. never did the trans drain and fill before. Nice extended cab, big island kruza!
