I just dropped my truck off yesterday to have my 2nd blower motor replaced on the newer TSB that was issued back in oct 2011. I had the TSB done that was just before that one. Blower speeds 1-2 chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp :censored::frusty::violent:
We'll see if this fixes it. Also getting my clutch pedal squeak/creak fixed. I've been waiting since I've had about 3k miles (41k miles now) to get this done. They finally issued a TSB for this recently. Replaces clutch pedal assembly and master cylinder. Hopefully this works, Im SO TIRED of the creaky pedal when its warm out!! Drove me crazy.

They were giving me a little bit of a hard time because my warranty has expired and they didn't know if the blower would be covered. But they called me today and said they are doing a good faith repair.

I'll throw some TSB numbers on here once I get my truck back tomorrow. I hope, I hope I hope this fixes these problems once and for all!!

**TSB for creaky/squeaky clutch. TSB 0186-12

Its not new though, been around for a while, unless they've changed it again. I cured mine with some lithium grease in the socket, YMMV.

I've done the lithium grease and it has worked pretty well. I was just hoping that there's a real fix.

Might as well get any updated parts if you still have warranty too. I'm well out, so a TSB is a non-issue for me so long as occasional greasing keeps things happy.

There is different TSB's for the clutch/tranny. When I went in about this, there were about 4 TSB fixes for clutch problems. The issue that I have, I've been waiting for about 2 years for a fix. Consistently calling toyota and seeing if a TSB had been issued for my problem, and finally there is.

I was refering to the creaky pedal TSB only, which there has been one of those around for a couple years or so. So it sounds as if its been changed again, or maybe your truck was too new to qualify for the original TSB. The TSB number and issue date will clarify I guess.

The latest -043 blower motor seems to be a fix, finally, I put mine in a couple months ago now and have no issues, and the toyota techs on the site have been reporting good results as well. Silence is a wonderfull thing, unless its from the wife, right?:p

I hope I have the same luck as you with this blower motor! I'm so tired of hearing it chirp! The same goes for this damn clutch pedal! And yes, there is no fix for the wife.;)

So I was not aware of the new TSB out for the blower motor and decided to take my truck to the dealer. Recently moved out to Temecula and popped in to Toyota of Temecula. The had the new blowers in stock and they replaced it on the spot in 2 hours. Sounds better than it ever did, even after I pulled the motor out and lubed the bearings. Tech said that the bearings were scored and no amount of lube would fix it. Good service and great experience there...having a staff of 5-6 very attractive service writer assistants didn't hurt either...

I just got my blower motor replaced and my clutch fixed. Still under warranty, so no charge. I hope the blower motor doesn't go bad like moondeath's.

Just had my squeaky clutch TSB done yesterday. Took a day to order parts (they kept my truck and provided a loaner) and about 4 hours for them to install the next day. Finally no more squeak.

I also had the fan blower done last year and haven't heard a noise from it since.
