So when this thing hits washboard on gravel, It fishtails like crazy. is it worth messing with sandbags?

It's a truck. Better shocks and a bit of weight will help. I suggest slowing down a tad as well.

Detroit True-Track rear limited slip, steering rack bushings, shell, SAF decals, Wheelers 5-leaf & Bilstein 5100's, some nice LED lights from Chris, big-ass bumpers, older-than-dirt owner

I just put mine in 4wd on gravel; it helps it stay stable at higher speeds. I've had mine over 100 on gravel roads in 4wd (no lift). I have a shell, which helps load the rear a little.

I suppose slowing down might be an option.
