This whole locker discussion is quite entertaining, in the midst of my current reads of things like Out of the Silent Planet, Brave New World, The Stranger, Siddartha, fitness textbooks, etc...

Speaking of manual hub conv. I think that the 2nd gen Solo LT kit can do a manual hub conv as well! I was surprised when I saw that. I am definitely thinking I will go with Solo when I go LT up front!

 

Feel ya man. My associates and 2 certs going right now. 18 credits at PimaCC and 2 credits at UofA. Will have all three before my 2 year mark. Shitty work load but its worth it.

 

I would love to do a manual hun conv but its so expensive. Its like over $1000 for a kit. Be nice to find a wreck 1st gen with the man hubs

Less wear on CV boots and no reliance on the ADD actuator either.

Problem with that on tacos manual hub = weaker shafts.

Ya, the bent axle I pulled today is not looking good at all, can't get the shaft out that had the hub snap off. It spins drive shaft flange but absoluy will not pry out of there. Plans a b and c have now failed. Can't say I didn't try and prepare....
