AR Sale Question (Shipping)

I'm considering posting my LWRC SPR (Selling as a Costco style bundle lol), but I've never shipped a firearm before. Anyone here sold one in the For Sale threads and ship it? How'd it go, was it expensive? Thanks.

For one, you gonna have a hard time selling a CA gun b/c of all the restrictions. Just check w/federal laws and make sure if its legal to ship it. Here in TX we can ship in state only person to person, but outside state we have to ship to a FFL dealer and do a transfer on it. Most gunshops will do it for a small fee. Have the buyer set it up w/there gunshop and you ship to them. Oh and you will have to ship it Fedex, i dont think UPS will ship guns anymore. Be sure and tell them that it is a firearm.
