    I had him make sure no wires were cut or exposed.

    I figured he did but Ill try that just to be sure

    That was my next plan, I was gonna go pick up some throttle body and maf cleaner. My friend was telling me it could also be the trottle boddy air valve (I think thats what its called) that is dirty or messed up but my thought was wouldnt that throw a code??

    I would stop putting so much faith into this mechanic. Recheck everything he would have touched and confirm for yourself. I think we've already established that he's used to cutting corners, based just on what I know of him on this thread, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him at this point.

    I know but its hard because its a family business and theyre great people and havent messed up a single thing up until now and they work super fast. The guy just didn't know how to install these things. Like I said, he told me he installed a few the same way with no problems, but you never know I guess. I'll just avoid having them do any electrical work for now

    So I disconnected my battery for a while and so far my truck has yet to make the noise im a bit relieved but ill keep you guys updated if it comes back. Thanks for the help guys

    Ya so if anyone wants to buy a used MAF calibrator let me know cuz im not gonna bother reinstalling it and im broke anyways haha. Its the one without the boost option
