    Did you flush it first? Drain both the rad and block?

    On mine I drained the rad and block, filled with water, circulated it for a few minutes, drained it again, then refilled with Prestone mix.

    Most of any known problems are due to mixing coolants, although I always consider that the major brands, Prestone, Zerex, know this and formulate or warn appropriately.
