I began a few little projects, one being de-badging the doors. I then removed the Toyota and Tacoma emblems from the tailgate. Finally, I "Black Chromed" the V6 emblem and my new Tundra 4x4 emblem, and installed the 4x4 emblem. Pretty happy with the outcome.

Threw a little bit of grease in my UCA bushings and cleaned and lubed the uni ball. Soon I'll be adding more grease to my CV's since I let some spill out by messing with the hose clamp.

How does that work for you? I used to blow fuses when any compressor run off the cig plug. Especially on road bike tires pushing 70-90 PSI.

I have one of these: http://www.pepboys.com/search/products/?term=mf1050

It's $20 less, and clamps to the battery with a 30 amp inline fuse. Just had to splice in a cheap set of jumper cables to get enough length to rear the rear passenger tire.

Got it dirty Saturday and had to buy a battery yesterday. The original finally took a dump at 26k miles.

Didn't think about taking it to the dealer. Damn. They were closed anyway. I'm just glad it didn't go out while I was at the trails Saturday. There was nobody around.

absolutely nothing. just the stock stuff. no extras or anything. only thing I've done anywhere related to electrical is add the ipod cable to the radio and that shuts off with the truck.

The stock battery in my very first Tacoma (2001 w/ 2.7) lasted 9 years. By comparison the stock battery in my wifes import sedan lasted only 6.

Put some marine grease on my leaf springs. Started to squeak a little after I lifted my truck a few months ago. Good to go now.
