Yeah these hoods are badass. I have a glassworks hood. I don't think there in production anymore though. But I may be wrong

I think the glassworks was around 400 new. And I saw hanneman are cheaper. But good luck on getting one. I defiantly love mine. And ive gotte npast the fact that it won't fit perfect ever. And I'm still happy

and im preaty sure that it also matters where you buy your parts from also. not all sites have the real deal some might have knock-off stuff thats why i always buy straight from the manuf. web site when i can.

Here pics of fitment. You can see the overhang of the hood I pushed it as far back as I can to line up with the fender and this was the end result. As for the close gap on the diver side I was running out of room to pull the fender farther out so i just left it.

These were perviously installed my some one else originally so fitment from his truck to mine even changed

Edit: both fenders and hood are Glassworks

I started out trying to buy a front clip from Fibrewerx and it took a month and still no clip so I canceled it and bought fenders and bedsides from Glassworks and yeah the fit is pretty good although not perfect. Now I'm looking for a hood and then paint. Pick the best quality you can get for the price you want.

so since every thing ive seen isnt what i was hoping for i think im just gonna find a newer 2005 4runner hood from a damaged one and cut out the hood scoop and weld it into the stock hood thats on my truck i know a guy that had a bodyshop that can hook me up with the prep and paint sounds cheaper and les of a headache than buying a fiberglass hood and having it made to fit. has anyone ever seen this done or has pictures of something similar?
