Leds capacitor and resistor

Hey guys. I want to put leds inthe foot wells on my truck but don't know what capasitors and resistors to put on the wire. I don't know the math equations to be able to solve this problem. What I want is to have 5 leds on each side and wire it off the fuse box if possible( don't know if I can do that rather) or off the battery which I know how to do. I can get the numbers that you need but I don't know what all is needed for this. If you can help thank you very much!!!
