if needed, we could move the upper shackle plates forward on the mount if that will help the setup.

    shocks work good so far.

when the axle was at full droop, the lower mounts lined up close. had to push the shock up slightly.

i have to get out this weekend and test it out and see how my compression will be.

the mount i had made for my bumps have a nut welded to the inside where i have the bump bolted into the mount. so if needed, i can take the bump off and add some spacers under it and lift it up. it'll be close.

these were my foxes under full compression with the current bump height
    [IMG]

and the billies are about an inch longer compressed. that's about what i had left on the foxes at full compression. so i might have to add 1/4-1/2" of spacers in there for some cushion.

    :annoyed:

you know as i was pulling in home i thought about that! i'll have to remember next time i can flex out to see what the numbers are...

but i forgot to measure before and after the flip too...i can estimate about an inch gain, but would have know exactly if i remembered to measure before tearing things apart...

need to start writing down shit more :)

yea i thought that was a cool series to show the differences each setup has..

we'll see how much more i can pull out of this setup..

got my buddy on board to modify the ATO mount to move the shackle hole forward a bit..waiting to hear back from adam on his thoughts of the setup and what he thinks

So you want to move the mount forward to make a tighter angle. How does the shackle flip mount to the frame, does it use existing holes? Would you be able to elongate some holes or drill new ones to achieve a better mounting location?

don't really like the idea of having elongated holes for the mount

if i were to adjust it, i would cut off the two plates the shackle bolts into and have them welded forward slightly on the mount which would move the upper shackle bolt forward.

would slightly lower the stance, give more of an "ideal" (ideal is debatable) ride angle and should produce a bit more droop (but i'll have to measure my shock extended to see if i have room left to extend)

you can see in this pic that the two plates the shackle bolts to are set back on the mount with room in front if i wanted to move this point forward
