Got my oil changed on Tuesday and the lube shop informed me that both inner boots were ripped and leaking. I booked it into a transmission shop on Friday morning (today) but they had trouble getting the inner CV boot kits.
They got the job done before 5:00 pm on a Friday before a long weekend.
The boot kits are from two different suppliers.
The EMPI kit was installed on the drivers side.
The Beck-Arnley kit on the passenger side.

My original factory boots held up for 104,000 Km.
The truck was lifted at 4,000 Km.

Have you found anything that lasts as long as the OEM part on a lifted truck?

My inners are both at the same time dry rotting so I ordered up some beck arnley kits, 30$ shipped... 68k on my truck so I don't feel bad going with a different brand and beck arnley is usually pretty quality stuff. I know this is an old post, just thought I'd add to it.
