Hey just wondering what kind of lifts are good for my 08. I'm unsure if I want a 3,4,or 6 inch. I would like a good ride in town and on the highway.

Ok thanks for the tutorial. My truck is a daily driver and is mostly driven on asphalt. So what type would you recommend that I choose? I enjoy the occasional mud pit or hill climb. And I would like to see the difference in height between the three.

    Thanks

I am by no means an expert on this topic but i can tell you the lift i am plannin on doing. The lift I intend to do is bilstein 5100 adjustables (these can be set at 0, .85, 1.75, an 2.5) with Eibach coilovers (the highest you can set the 5100s at with this coil is .85) And a rear add a leaf (later going to a leaf pack). I will set the bilsteins at .85 so achieve a little under 2.5 inches of lift in the front and the add a leaf will be about 2 inches in the rear. I intend to of road a little more frequently so I would like to have a new coilover instead of just the bilsteins.

A lift that should get the job done for you is just the bilstein 5100 adjustables set at 1.75 in the front. You can also get them for the rear for a better ride quality but they don't adjust.

If you want a little more, you could always go up to 2.5 on the bilsteins and add a leaf in the rear. The a precaution though, I have been told this can be a little rough of a ride. I would suggest just searching.

Go ahead and search bilstein 5100 in the search bar and there is a plethora of information on here!

    And let the mods begin!
